9th Annual Art-a-Day Challenge, January 2018!

A few days off...

I've taken a few days 'Art free" but what I discovered that even if I'm not working on art or art business- it's literally all I think about. I think about blogs to do, upcoming jobs, videos I want to make, websites to build, classes to teach, processes, products I want to try, art to make....on and on. Don't really know what this means other than I think it has something to do with why I don't feel like actually getting down to actual art making in the studio...or maybe I'm a better "designer"of ideas than a "follow through-er" . Or maybe I just have too many ideas!

You are a visionary!!
I don't think creativity stops at the easel - you have creative thoughts too.

Perhaps we would all do better if we had a support staff to implement all those great ideas. You could be the ceo of "YOU, Inc" and the staff could do the record keeping, secretarial, multi media staff & graphic designers, implementers etc. (ah, in a perfect world).

Keep 'em percolating!!

Hehe...I totally agree that would be perfect. "You, Inc"! Yes indeed.

I think that is what the owner of Anthropologie has...

That was certainly an eye opening for me the first year of ARt-a-Day - how much time and energy of every day is filled with some aspect of the creative life. It was also nice to learn from a creative coach that even things like looking through magazines is very much part of the business of art or of being a creative. Yay!

Speaking if being creative, can someone explain to me how to get on this site again? I do work every day but can't share. I unloaded a catastrophe in the kiln today. Poo poo happens and I didn't take notes-amateur mistake.
