Textured Canvases

I love experimenting with faux finish products outside their intended use. I'm continuing to use  the frost photos that I used to make my Winter Walk book (below). This time I am using canvas to create wall art rather than a book.
Tonight I slathered 3 canvases with a thick layer of Perfetto's Rotto, a slightly gritty wall plaster used for old world wall textures.
They have to dry overnight before I can add the next layer.

Bobi,
The process of experimenting is what I love most...except when it goes awry.

Facing west, I view your vineyard scene, before I head to my office, the tennis courts at CBRC. I like your pieces.

Thanks everyone! Patti- you work at CBRC I take it? Were you here when I was working on the CBRC mural?

The possibilities are endless - I can't wait to see what you end up with here.

Daily, I would skirt around your scaffolding, and enjoyed the process! I have been a tennis pro at CBRC since Nov. 1983! Ha! I'll be working tomorrow, that's why I had to get out today! ha! Young and old appreciate your artistic piece. Last year was my first Art A Day experience, love it.
