Well that's way fun. The options of things to do would be overwhelming to me. Do you start with some idea in mind or just start messing with things as a practice/study kind of thing?
It's no more overwhelming than looking at a pile of metal bits and seeing a calliope. I start with a photo & decide I want vintage, or abstract or colorful and build from there. Much like working with bits of metal, I stop when it starts looking finished.....
That's somewhat in keeping with what I thought with Laura's progression of painting pictures. It's a process. Each art has its own process. None of it simply "pops" into being.
I like this. I like the script in the background. I like that it's too small to be read, so it adds a level of mysteriousness to the entire image. I like that you removed the distraction of color. Nice.
