I so hoped to have pictures here today. I put finishing touches to two (of 4 pieces in a series titled BA-BR) then got hung up on the third (main) piece. It's packaged up to take to RFP Plastics tomorrow to see why the black plexiglas isn't adhering to the clear. It's a delicate last step and getting very buggered up. :-(
Had all gone according to plan (does that ever really happen?) I'd have finished them AND spent time playing with Hearts for DS Watkins February Art Walk Valentines AND had pictures of the works. Tomorrow....

Sorry things not going to plan, Bobi. For what it's worth your comment about the last step getting buggered up made me grin very widely. It's such a British phrase and reminds me of home. It's about the mildest and gentlest of curses/frustrated sayings, but always said with partial amusement or even affection. Like calling someone a 'cheeky sod' :)
Look forward to seeing the finished pieces...
Cheeky sod ... never heard that one, Shelley, very endearing. (smile)
"The path of true art (er, love) never did go smooth" I think I read that somewhere or at least made it up. Bobi isn't that odd that the black won't adhere to the clear ... like you are dealing with racial relations as well as the mechanics of the thing. Your engineering talents are amazing and I can't wait to see your cohesive, unified book.
cheeky sods, racial relations, buggery, who would ever thought such would appear here on this most pristine of pristine blogs. drives one to the loo abit doesn't it?
You cheeky sods crack me up!
