What could be more fun than combining copper with coloring!This is a process created and perfected by Marilyn da Silva where copper is cleaned and given several coats of gesso. Color is applied with colored pencils and blended with turpentine, the black areas are liver of sulphur patina.
I’m not yet sure how I want to mount them. These are still sitting on the paper towel I used to spray coat them. Each "village" is approx 3" x 5".
