Ok, this is the last of the first five I did two years ago. Yes, it is my bed. If you haven't figured it out yet, most of the people in the Everyday Matters Group are women....shoes, lamps, bags, beds.
If us guys were doing this it would have been bolts, nuts, saws and jock straps...well, maybe not that last one. Anyway, there's plenty more to come where these come from and they're all just good practise anyway, so I'm not too worried about it.
I like to think that if I were to draw this again I wouldn't miss the perspective as badly on the bed as I did this on this one.
Hope you're enjoying these for a fraction as much as I am and remember, you can get the list of EDM Challenges at this link.

Nice tidy room. :) My goal is to draw the list and I have drawn some of them. Love your journaling on the page too. I struggle with that so don't do much more than date and maybe label what I draw.
Seeing your sketches gives me a preview of my next days drawings....and a bed! Holy moly - don't know how I'm going to manage that one. And you didn't draw just a bed, you drew your room! I can see the perspective is a bit wonky, but I can always tell that in my own too - I just don't know how to fix it :) You're an inspiration and I'm keepin' on keepin' on!
I think nuts & bolts would make an interesting sketch. Very tidy bedroom!
Yeah, yeah, yeah, but would you really want to draw a jock strap? Bolts and nuts would be alright though.
There is a LOT going on here Jim. I was asked, while out drawing one day, how long it took me to do something like this and I had to think about it a minute. I decided if I knew how long something like this was going to take, I would never start it... I like it!
Your room is so inviting!
Thanks for your comments, everyone.
Where are the tossed aside shoes, the pile of dirty socks, the clothing hung over the chair or the bedpost, the books in a pile toppling onto to the floor? I do not recognize this as a bedroom! Too, too pretty. No worries about perspective--if it's recognizable as a bed, you did your job, and I'd say this is a good job!
such a comfortable looking bed! Nice sketch Jim
If I drew my room the bed wouldn't be made, and there would be a giant pile of clean and dirty clothes- if I wanted to keep it real. So I'm jealous your bedroom
