That's a pretty intense vision you had. Didn't you say it came from a dream or vision?
Very Cool. If I could paint from dreams, I would probably fill the Coliseum. Although the world would be totally freaked out :)
It's not from a dream ... not really sure where it came from. Just was one of my doodles, enlarged on a big ole canvas. I drew it with charcoal using sweeping arm movements. It came about after I'd been doing several small paintings, and felt the need to be a bit more kinesthetic in my art. It now feels embryonic to me.
She is watery and protected. This nymph has a window wide open to her gestation!
