I'd say you've got more than an inkling - looks fab to me.
don't want this to sound like a put down, but cartooning is a true gift... the ability to skew and modify the perspective of an object, and still it looks like the real thing. And of something so complicated as cars, wow. (maybe it's not considered cartooning...)
