It' pretty doggone adorable, IMHO. I meant to take a picture with a quarter to give an idea of the scale. The body of the wagon is about as tall as a quarter.
Copper, brass, sterling silver, brooch, 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" x 1/4"
That is intricate work. It would drive me crazy to do stuff that small and intricate. (Not to mention stubby fingers and fall asleep a lot) NICE, cool :)
Bobi, well done! You have way more patience than I do. This little detailed stuff is hard for me to do. Beautiful work. Are you soldering the pin onto the back?
Wendy, yes, I soldered a pin on the back. It also opens, the whole front pulls out. I made a kind of spring tension to hold it in place but haven;t gotten the "spring" back into it properly after soldering annealed it. Terrie, yeah, it's kind of 'steam punk meets Cinderella." :)

I am amazed myself at how much I am enjoying this "tedious" stuff.
It is very charming and a beautiful finished quality, Bobi. How very adorable.

Very cool. It has a nice vintage vibe to it and the detail is extraordinary. So pretty.
