Robots, Rockets, Rayguns

The last post hit on an area I'm into right now. So, with less skill of course, here is one of my robots.

I thought of a caption:

"I love you, but let's face it... there's nothing on."

Very clever Lapoynte.

I think you are like me, in that we both got our design sense from the 50's and 60's.

I to find myself always going back to Robots, Rockets and Rayguns. It's a natural as coke, fries and sock hops.

Once again, very inventive.

I may be commenting on this more than you would like but I have re-written the gag. Here's the rewrite.

"I care for you very much, but let's face it... There's nothing on"

I think that is funnier.

I love your test pattern, and I love your blank stare.

Thanks for the comments. I never thought about a caption, it is love, isn't it?
My nephew has a shop in Sunnyside called “Rocket’s Hot rod Garage.” His current logo is very good and sells a lot of T-shirts, so I started thinking about a logo based on rockets, robots and ray-guns. And you’re right Michael the forties, fifty’s and 60’s are full of such fun stuff on the subject. Now I think and doodle about them all the time.
