New Tools & Paper Folding

Pat shared a bounty of jewelry tools and supplies with me today - thanks Pat! - so spent the afternoon touching each one and giving them some TLC, which put me to giving some much needed TLC to my own.  Metalsmiths sharing tools with me when I was starting out was huge help so look forward to doing the same with many of the these. 

Probably not this sweet little bench vise/anvil though -that's going on the corner of my bench. 


I re-discovered the best cut, score and fold for the valentines from vintage photo album pages.  The whole thing is very steampunk-ish. The envelopes will be made from player piano scrolls.
