sketch crawl contribution

While my sketch crawl friends sketched structures and urban scenes, I enjoyed a moment of attention to softer forms. This play of light and pattern on Sarah as she sketched, was fun to express. It was like a return to the "gesture" drawings enjoyed at the last figure drawing session.

Was so fun to spot you two sitting on a sunny bench sketching on Kennewick Ave. The whole world-wide sketch crawl notion struck in that moment, felt big, and you both looked so artsy.

We did have a lovely sunny day for the sketch crawl, didn't we. It was enjoyable, sitting in the sun sketching with Sarah. And was also fun to catch up with so many teachers -- Fred and Wayne.
