Here's the completion of yesterdays work.
My goal was to make a heart from steel, at least 90% recycled and with only cold connections (no soldering).
I found some copper plated steel strapping and let the rest informed me as I went.
t came out about 99% recycled and maybe 90% cold connection
I soldered the pin back assembly perfectly - on the wrong side..., twice. So I went with it and switch the orientation of the front.
I wanted silver for the back but didn't have a piece of scrap that large so I used an old sterling spoon and ran it through the rolling mill.

hmmmm, there used to be pictures. wonder if they'll show up again.
I love this heart. Making jewelry is something I have never tried but it looks like it could be pretty fun. Nice work.
I need to try this again and see if I can get my name to show up instead of "anonymous."
So - do you see pictures in this post? I don't. I only have 3 minus signs where they used to be. Maybe it's because I deleted them from the cloud?
No, the pictures are gone - I can't see them from my phone or from my computer. Yeah, if you deleted them from the cloud that would do it, as likely this site only stores a link, not the actual image, to save space. - Megan your niece
Bobi, I didn't get to see your images. Hope you have another copy of them so that you can repost. It in intriguing me!! (PS I noticed many of your previous posts were lacking a photo now too. So you might want to check that…)
