Well rats...

What a weird day.  Was totally bumming about this idea - a felted heart for this bleeding heart flower pin.  Hated, hated it and couldn't get myself redirected.  Finally decided to just go for it.  I think it might actually be okay.  We'll see,,,    While soldering on the pin catch I also soldered on the steel rod holding it in place.

...stepping away from the bench...

I don't see the creative conundrum - but it speaks loudly in your words. A solution is just another creative attempt. Each attempt takes us either further into the maze, or finds a way out of it. In the end we realize many paths out. [pardon me, I am feeling philosophical this a.m.]

I love what you are doing this year with your many talents.

Laura - the conundrum is the 'holder' - that little piece of metal with the red handle - I used to keep the pin-catch in place as I soldered. But I soldered the whole blooming thing together. Had to saw it off and start again. But then, I often have do-overs in my projects. :)

Patti - I immediately imagined the hat pin in Agent Carter's fedora. :)
