"But, This Time in Acrylics...."

If you read this blog, you've seen her before, the "Woman from Algiers," originally oiled by my ol' buddy Modigliani, and watercolored by yours truly a few posts back on this blog.

Today I finished an acrylic of the same image and for not having done too many acrylics, I think she came out pretty good (if I do have to say so myself). cough, cough.

I'm not done with Modigs, nope. I'm going to go on a spree and work up a series of Modigliani acrylics. I might even get the nerve to pull a LaPoynte technique and "go big" on some cardboard.

Why not?

I have enjoyed reading about Modigliani while watching your postings. I love the expressions you are creating with your ladies.
