Are you sure it's "seamy" places where she's been frequenting? With those shower curtains, methinks maybe "steamy" would be a more precise descriptor. lol
I thought the background was a bit back-alley. It is most important, particularly when falling on hard times, to find refinement or a good hot shower whenever possible. duh! :)
