Skull quilt

This cute little lap quilt I designed and hand embroidered. Using flannel for the front and polar fleece for the back. I quilted around each of the squares as well.

The second piece is an experimental piece in the making. I tried my hand at etching copper with an Orthodox Icon. While it not being used for it's original purpose, I am going to make an art book with it. I had fun learning the fine art of etching with etching solution and the next step is to use electricity and salt water.

The etching is so damned cool and I love the skull and cross-bow.
