Making little books

Good to be back in the studio today.  Didn't make an original, completed work today, instead continued on a bookart piece for an upcoming show.  I am destroying perfectly good books, cutting them up and making them look like perfectly good miniature books.  And honest, there is a perfectly good reason.  This is picture from a earlier day but today's work was much the same - though I've learned a much easier, faster approach.
Hope to post an image of the completed work next week.

How do you cut the big book down into these little tiny ones?

Table saw. Oddly, wickedly satisfying. :)

THIS sounds like fun! Now I'm thinking of other things that could be table sawed...shoes, old telephones, baseballs, maybe tires, hammer handles, and possibly ice scrapers.

Are you jerking my chain or ready for some serious mayhem? :)

Bring on the mayhem, Ms. Wilson, bring it on! lol

LOVE the little books! =) Miniatures are fascinating. Is this part of a larger project, or are they stand-alone?

@Tamra - it's part of a larger, bookart piece. I hope to finish it next week when I can focus again. Once I set parts into place, they will be permanent so want to be fully present.
@Jim - hmmm, wheels are spinning... thinking..., thinking...
