Thursday again

Today I received the February issue of Southwest Art magazine. I actually have an ad in the landscape portfolio of the magazine. I really feel good about it being in Southwest Art. The printing was a little light, but it is OK.
In response to the blog about the telescope, my husband just got a Meade 8-inch telescope, which weighs about 35 pounds, plus tripod, which we have been carrying in and out of the house in freezing weather (down to 15 last night), all for the love of stars! It was fun.
This is the acrylic collage in the ad.

Kathryn - if only my husband had just one. He has 5 and wants more, bigger, better! And I know the going out in freezing weather too. It's funny that your husband could use the telescope right after buying it. One of the sayings among amateur astronomers is the skies will be cloudy if you just bought a telescope or lens or mount.
